This traditional looking holiday light set is approved for indoor or outdoor use. The string of lights is 24 feet long with 70 white LED lights. LED lights use about one-tenth of the electrical current of the more commonly used incandescent lights. The average lifetime of LED lights is ten times longer than traditional Christmas lights. They are also encased in thick plastic rather than flimsy glass, so mistakenly stepping on one won't result in a holiday tragedy. If a bulb does get damaged, the rest of the string will stay lit. Caring for LED lights is simple with such a long life and tough casing. Users can simply roll them up and store them at the end of the holiday and fully expect to come back next year and find them still functioning.

Blue????

It was great that we could leave these lights on for the entire holiday season. However, none of us could get used to the blue color of the white lights. I doubt that we will use these in the house next year. I think they may go outside where the blue hue may not be as obvious.

Look Great, While They Work - Quality Issues

I purchased two strings of these lights for use around the perimeter of our porch. Right out of the box, one string had 3 burnt-out lamps, and the other had four ... since only two spares were provided with each string, I immediately had three non-working bulbs right from the start. After three days, one of the light strings simply stopped working ... I replaced the small fuses in the AC plug, to no avail.

Note that even though the ad copy says that these lights will stay lit with multiple burnt out LEDs, that was not consistently my experience. There were occasions when the whole string was out, I happened to swap out a burned out LED with a new one, and the whole string then lit up. This seemed intermittent; the behavior was not predictable.

Its too bad, because when they were lit they were a beautiful, rich blue ... but I would look elsewhere given the problems I've had with them.

This is my second Christmas using these, both the blue and the white lights. I haven't noticed any flickering like some others, just deep bright blues and bright whites. These are absolutely outstanding for both their price and quality. Bulbs don't remotely get warm, low energy usage, and seem to be well made.

I bought two sets and am very pleased with the quality and color. They are a bright, clean white and look best with other LED lights. They make regular white lights look kind of dull side by side because of this though.

Versatility in LED Christmas lights

I purchased 3 sets of these multi-colored lights this Christmas to use outdoors to outline shrubs. I am very pleased with the durable quality and the color selections. The light strings don't readily tangle. The colors are vivid and traditional.

The instructions warn that you should not use the bulbs on trees that have metal branches. Since I wanted to wrap the bulbs around a metal topiary frame, I consulted an electrician who advised me to wrap the topiary frame in electrical tape.

My only "complaint" so far is that the two extra bulb colors are red and yellow. I read in the instructions that the bulbs are interchangeable, so this should not be a problem. I also have seen replacement light sets with all the colors represented.

If you want a sturdy and versatile string of lights, I would certainly recommend these.
